Festival of Hope, at Artscape Opera House, Cape Town

world-famous Cape Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Karen Nel and celebrated gospel vocal artists, the beauty of
our region in audio-visual displays and heart-warming stories, to celebrate the power of media
for good: it's power to bring Hope to Africa and beyond!

This gospel music & media event-of-the-year is proudly hosted by the Hope Channel, a
24/7, free-to-air, family-friendly, Christian satellite television channel which includes locally
made  programming.

At the Artscape event, top artists will emphasize Hope, through traditional and
contemporary gospel music, while a professional audio-visual show will ‘put it all in perspective’
within the African context.

The two-hour music & media showcase includes celebrated vocal artists and groups,
accompanied by the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Karen Nel, including home-grown favourite, Manuel
Escorcio, who never fails to please with his magnificent voice and engaging personality; Dr
Kopano, from Botswana, who delivers spine-tingling perfection; music-elite Lungile Jacobs,  with
his mesmerizing choir, Ingoma Music Ministries; and mother/daughter duo, Shana and Jada
Roberts - just a few highlights of this truly anointed, all-African occasion.

This Festival of  Hope brings together more than 100 artists for 2 nights only, and
provides the opportunity to celebrate faith, appreciate local talent, meet the artists, and enjoy the
beauty of our region, all in a spectacular display of God-given talent used for the sole purpose of
boldly spreading Hope!
